It’s true to say that businesses with clear goals and actionable plans tend to have greater levels of success than those that don’t!

So if that’s the case, wouldn’t it make sense to put time aside for you and your senior team to plan how you want 2025 to look?

The Intent:

• The purpose behind your Annual Planning Session is to create the time and the space for you and your senior team to remove yourself from the day-to-day distractions of your business to allow you to think, to discuss, to prioritise and plan how you want 2025 to be.
• Irrespective of the dates of your financial year, there’s definitely something special about being about to take time in December to plan the next calendar year.

The Process:

• During your pre-work you be sent an online form that allows you to reflect on 2024 – what you liked best about the year and what you’d do differently next year. You’ll be starting to formulate the thoughts for how you want 2025 to look. During this process you might even get close to defining some goals.
• During the session you’ll get the chance to hear from our guest speaker – legendary Olympic Coach Frank Dick – who’ll inspire you with wisdom he’s gleaned from working with some of the World’s greatest sports people on the subject of planning for champion performance.
• You’ll get the chance to gain input on from fellow business owners on a challenge you’re grappling with or an opportunity you want to go after in what we call the “Mastermind” session.
• And then you’ll have the opportunity to refine your key goals and to start creating your annual plan for 2025.
• You’ll be supplied with tools and templates to help you and you’ll have expert guidance from the coaches on the day.

Success for the day is for you to walk away with a clear set of goals that excite you and a plan of action you believe in and can commit to. Our mantra is:

The People:

The people who should attend are the people who are responsible for the strategic direction of the business. For some that might be just you. For others, you might be supported by a senior team. The reality is that people tell us that the more key people they bring into the planning process two things happen; the quality of the plan improves as a consequence of richer conversation and different perspectives AND the engagement to the plan is stronger. Let’s face it. it’s unlikely you’ll be executing this plan on your own and so you’ll need the support of those involved in creating the plan to communicate it so that the entire team is focused and motivated by it.
